Detaching a User

Detaching a User from the Account is used to break the connection between the User and the Account. User's access to the Customer Control Panel will be terminated.

Please note that all Services and credentials of the detachable User, which connected to the Account (including the mailboxes and its content, which were created by the Services), are permanently deleted. You should save all the data on the local computer.

The following operation can be used to terminate User's access to the Customer Control Panel:

  • Deactivating the User for a specific Account. Deactivation / activation of the User is possible if the Global status of the User is Active (see Global Deactivating a User).
  • Global user deactivation is used for closing access to all Accounts via the Customer Control Panel, regardless of user's status for a particular Account (see Global Deactivating a User).

To detach the User from the Account:

  1. Sign in to the Operator Control Panel.
  2. Click Operation > Operation > Accounts on the Navigation Bar.
  3. Click the ID or Name link for the required account in the List of Accounts.
  4. Click the Users tab. The list of attached users appears on the screen.

  5. Select the checkbox, which is located in required user's line.
  6. Click the Detach User button.
  7. Click Confirm in the top up window. After detaching user's credentials can't be used to access the Customer Control Panel, but the user data will be stored in the Operator Control Panel.
