Auto-renewing allows a customer to continue using a Subscription for another period. If the Auto-renew option is turned on, on a specified day, the customer will receive an Invoice for renewal and payment notification. On the Subscription expiration day, if the Account Balance has sufficient funds, the Subscription will be paid and renewed automatically.
Limitations
Auto-renewing is not available for Subscriptions to the endless period.
For a Subscription with the Auto-renew option turned on, a new Renewal Order is not created if a Renewal Order in the Waiting for payment or Waiting for provisioning status already exists.
Subscriptions with the turned on Auto-renew option continue to renew automatically regardless of the deactivation of the corresponding Plan (for details, see Deactivating a Plan).
For Subscriptions ordered at the individual price, in the Subscription renew settings group, select the preferable option of Subscription billing after renewal (see Ordering a Subscription at the individual prices).
Optionally, in the Manual renew point (days) field, update the number of days before the Subscription expiration date, when the Renew button for the Subscription becomes available. For rest of the period when the renewal is not possible, the Renew button is not displayed on the Subscription’s details page in Operator (Reseller) Control Panel and Customer Control Panel. The default value is inherited from the linked Service Term (see Creating a Service Term).
To make manual renewing of a Subscription available for all the Subscription period, enter -1.
To make manual renewing of a Subscription completely unavailable, enter 0.
The Manual renew point cannot be less than theAuto-renew point. If the Manual renew point is -1, the validation is not performed.
Click Update to activate auto-renewing.
Subscriptions in the Stopped status are not auto-renewed even if the Auto renewal checkbox is selected.
