Password Settings

The password settings are used for configuring the requirements to the password strength in the Operator Control Panel and Customer Control Panel.

To manage the password settings:

1. Sign in to the Operator Control Panel.
2. On the Navigation Bar, go to Security Settings (see Navigation). The Security Settings page is displayed.
   
   
    
3. On the Password Settings tab of the Security Settings page, select a rule of the password validating in the Password strength list:
   

   • Strong:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
     • The letters in different registers (Aa).
     • At least 1 symbol ($%&,...).

   • Good:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
     • The letters in different registers (Aa) or at least 1 symbol ($%&,...).

   • Weak:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
4. Optionally, to forbid using a login in the password, select the Password cannot contain Login checkbox.

5. Click Update to save the changes.
