General rules
The Non-Recurring Subscription billing type is used for selling Microsoft licenses within the CSP program (a single-time Subscription).
Plans with the Non-Recurring Subscription billing type have the following distinctive features:
- For Periods, all fees are not set.
- For Resources, only the Setup fee is set.
Subscriptions to Plans with the Non-Recurring Subscription billing type have the following distinctive features:
- Renewing (manual and auto) a Subscription is not available.
- Upgrading and downgrading Resources are not available.
- Switching a Plan is not available.
- Active Subscriptions have the Delivered status.
Ordering a Subscription
Only the Setup fee Charges are generated for a Subscription. Setup fee Charges are generated for a period equal to the Subscription period and are closed when the Order is paid. These types of Charges change their attributes in a standard way (see Charges default attributes).
Stopping, activating, and deleting a Subscription
Stopping, activating, and deleting a Subscription do not produce any changes to the Charges.
