Password settings

The password settings are used for configuring the requirements to the password strength in the Operator Control Panel and Customer Control Panel.

To manage the password settings:

1. Go to Security Settings (see Navigation). The Security Settings page is displayed.
   
   
    
2. On the Password Settings tab, in the Password strength list, select the rule of the password validating:
   

   • Strong:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
     • The letters in different registers (Aa).
     • At least 1 symbol ($%&,...).

   • Good:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
     • The letters in different registers (Aa) or at least 1 symbol ($%&,...).

   • Weak:

     • Minimum 8 characters.
     • Letters and numbers.
   Passwords of any strength cannot contain spaces.
3. Optionally, to forbid using a login in the password, turn On the Password cannot contain Login switch.

4. Click Update.
