Managing a product
A product is an entity used by a reseller to manage sales of vendor services and applications. In ActivePlatform, a product includes the data required to sell it via Customer Store (see Managing Storefront):
- Vendor information.
- Product type.
- Product marketing information.
- Product documentation.
- Support information.
In ActivePlatform, a product is directly connected to a plan (see Managing plans), and indirectly โ via the plan โ to an application (see ะกonnectors) and to a service term (see Managing service terms). For an account ordered a subscription within a product, the reseller can assign the responsible managers (product managers).
