Version 7.1-7.2. Release date 04 April 2023

New features and enhancements:

Implemented calculation of taxes using the internal taxation module

The internal taxation module allows resellers to work with taxes added or included in plan prices. The platform informs managers and customers about the procedure for tax calculation during the order configuration. It displays the list of taxes on the order confirmation step, in the details of an order and payment, and notifications. Creating, editing, and delegating taxes in the platform was implemented earlier. (CR-1869)

Added the "Vendor" and "Product line" catalogs

The following entities have been added to the platform:

  • Vendors — to build an end-to-end connection between products at all levels of resellers. Only the root reseller can manage vendors. Vendors are not delegated to downstream reseller levels. However, downstream resellers can view and use them in their products. For products received from Vendor Portal at any level, a vendor is automatically created on the root reseller level.
  • Product lines — for grouping products of a vendor. Managing product lines is available at any reseller level. When a plan is delegated, a product line is delegated to a downstream reseller level without copying so downstream resellers can only view it and not use it in their products.

In the upcoming versions, information about a vendor and product line will be used to display products and filter them in the Storefront, Customer Control Panel, and Reseller Store.

Also, the navigation menu of the Operator Control Panel has been improved for more convenient work with products and the new sections. (CR-1958, CR-2053)

Extended integration with Microsoft services

In the Operator Control Panel, an error message regarding the tenant creation error on the Microsoft side for a new subscription has been improved. The response received from Microsoft with the code, description, and list of parameters that caused the error has been added to the message from the platform. (CR-2034)

In the Customer Control Panel, the ability to view information about the licenses purchased within all Microsoft subscriptions of an account has been added. The owner and admins of an account can view the number of available, assigned, active, and stopped licenses. (CR-1906)

Added detection of peak consumption for pay-as-you-go subscriptions

A reseller can activate automatic monitoring of consumption anomalies for all pay-as-you-go subscriptions. In this case, the platform analyzes the day-to-day difference in consumption for a subscription and compares it against a threshold specified in the system settings. If the platform detects a significant consumption spike for a subscription of an account, it notifies the owner. A notification includes the date and amount of consumption and a link to the subscription analytics section in the Customer Control Panel. (CR-1915, CR-2058)

Added validation of notifications before sending

Before sending any notification to a customer or manager, the platform checks the content for errors of the Liquid library. For notifications on the "Billing day for account's subscription has come" event, the presence of consumption data for generating a report is additionally checked. If a "Liquid error" is detected or there is no consumption data, such a notification is not sent and gets the status "Generation error", which is recorded in the notification log. (CR-1832)

Improved user experience in the platform

  • The support of delayed sales orders has been added to Reseller Store. (CR-1736)
  • The behavior of filters has been improved for the list of payments in the Customer Control Panel. (CR-2096)
  • Various technical improvements have been implemented. (CR-1897, CR-2021, CR-2081, AB-26402, AB-35200, AB-35413)

For API v3 methods of getting information about products, the ability has been implemented to include information about a vendor and product line. (CR-1958, CR-2053)
