Version 7.3. Release date 16 May 2023

New features and enhancements:

Extended integration with Microsoft services

  • The support of the immediate switch of a paid Microsoft NCE subscription to another plan without waiting for the expiration date has been added. The immediate switch is applied to all licenses ordered within a subscription, corresponding to the "Full upgrade" logic on the Microsoft side. Previously, switching a Microsoft NCE subscription was available only with renewal (the delayed switch). A manager can now configure switchable plans for the immediate, delayed, or both switches. In service terms, it is now possible to configure separate periods when the immediate and delayed switches must be available. They can be redefined anytime on the subscription level. Also, service terms now allow the prohibition of increasing and reducing the resource quantity in an immediate switch order — since the "Full upgrade" logic on the Microsoft side does not allow reducing the number of ordered licenses. The immediate switch now supports refunds to a customer for the unused part of the subscription period in cases when the charges have already been closed. A customer gets a refund via a new mechanism — generating new closed charges with a negative amount. The logic of the immediate and delayed switches can also be used for other services.(CR-1880, CR-1951, CR-2092)
  • In the Customer Control Panel, the ability to manage Microsoft licenses assigned to users of a Microsoft tenant has been added. Previously, the ability to view the purchased Microsoft licenses was added to the "Service management" section. A new subsection called "Microsoft Users and Licenses" has been added there. Customers can view the list of users of their Microsoft tenant, assign, and remove their licenses. (CR-1910)
  • Logging of the process of receiving a recon file for the Microsoft Azure Plan service has been added. (CR-1905)

Extended integration with Google Workspace

It is now possible to migrate several Google Workspace subscriptions simultaneously, including several subscriptions ordered in Google for the same domain. A manager can select up to 10 subscriptions and optionally configure individual prices and charge generation for the current billing period. A microservice has also been improved to support managing several subscriptions for the same domain. However, ordering several subscriptions for the same domain via the platform is still not available. Previously, only one subscription could be migrated at once, and only one Google Workspace subscription per domain was supported. (CR-1220)

Improved user experience in the platform

  • Protection against automatic registration in the Customer Control Panel has been added. (CR-1792, CR-2168)
  • The logic of counting unpaid payments in a widget on the main page and subscription details of the Customer Control Panel has been improved. Postpaid payments are no longer considered unpaid while waiting for an external invoice. (CR-2108)
  • A report about consumption peaks detected for all subscriptions with the "Pay as you go" billing type during the specified period has been added to the Operator Control Panel. (CR-2097)
  • The ability to customize the appearance of the main and additional account attributes in the Customer Control Panel has been added to the Operator Control Panel. A manager can customize the display order of the attributes and their groups, add localized hints in several languages, and copy the settings from one account type to another. (CR-1872)
  • The ability to view, add, and delete subscription notes has been implemented for Reseller Store. Operations with notes are available from the new "Notes" tab of the subscription details page. (CR-2127)

Extended API

New API v3 methods have been implemented to manage notes to entities in the platform. (CR-1847)

Several existing API v3 methods have been improved to support the immediate and delayed switches of the subscription plan. (CR-1880)

New methods of the internal API have been implemented, and several existing ones have been improved. (CR-1792, CR-1872, CR-1880, CR-1942, CR-2097, CR-2108, CR-2168, AB-36002)
