Version 9.6. Release date 12 August 2025
New features and enhancements:
Extended integration with Microsoft services
- Billing of the Microsoft Azure Plan service has been improved to more accurately identify the subscription associated with Azure RI consumption. For a single-subscription reservation, charges in the platform are applied to the corresponding subscription. Charges for shared reservations are linked to one of the subscriptions to which the Azure RI was applied. In the "Analytics" section of the Customer Control Panel, new UI filters and report metadata have been added for the Microsoft Azure RI consumption records. (CR-2760)
- The Microsoft plan updater has been improved:
- The default autorenewal parameters for new plans can now be configured. Plans are created with the "Auto-renew" and "Disable the Auto-renew option" attributes set according to the reseller base file of a connector. (CR-2869, SAP-23837)
- The sale end date can be set for plans to reflect the actual availability of offers in the Microsoft pricelist. If the final date when an SKU will be available for sale falls within the current month, this date is set as the sale end date in the plan in the platform. (CR-2779)
- A plan's availability for purchase and renewals is automatically restored in the platform if an SKU is available in the pricelist and the plan's purchase and renewal were previously unavailable to both managers and customers in the platform. (CR-2779)
- Checking the availability of a trial Microsoft NCE subscription for the ordered product has been added to the order placement and provisioning processes. According to Microsoft's terms, each tenant is entitled to only one trial for each available offer. If the tenant already owns the trial offer, the platform displays the relevant message in the Operator Control Panel and a standard error message in the Customer Control Panel. (CR-2722, SAP-22895)
- Daily status synchronization with Microsoft has been improved to include subscriptions in the "Waiting for manual approve" status. As a result, a manual operation can be automatically approved or declined, and the linked subscription in the platform may be stopped, activated, or deleted to match its current status on the Microsoft side. (CR-2827)
Implemented the second phase of the quote request purchasing flow
In response to RFQs, managers can now send proposals with attached files and expiration dates directly via the Operator Control Panel. Customers can view all their quote requests, review received proposals, and either accept or decline them in a new dedicated section of the Customer Control Panel. The platform can now send notifications for status changes, including when a quote request is created or canceled, and when a proposal is approved, declined, or expires. To support the quote request purchasing flow, it is now also possible to create an account in the Customer Control Panel without ordering a subscription. This action is available to all registered users. (CR-2843, CR-2844)
Implemented centralized management of customer agreements
A new "Agreements" section of the Operator Control Panel is now available, providing centralized management of all customer agreements. Agreements of the following types are used in the platform:
- Terms and Conditions — an agreement between the reseller and a customer. It is accepted by a user of the Customer Control Panel when creating an account and when purchasing each subscription.
- Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy — an agreement between the reseller and the customer's user. It is accepted during user registration in the Customer Control Panel.
- Microsoft Customer Agreement — an agreement between Microsoft as the vendor and a customer. It is accepted by the customer or manager when purchasing or migrating the first Microsoft subscription.
Agreements can now be configured to require re‑acceptance either on a scheduled basis or triggered manually at any time. The current status of the agreements is displayed on the account and user detailed pages.
In the Customer Control Panel, users can also view detailed information about all agreements they have accepted. If re‑acceptance is required, the platform sends notifications and displays pop‑up prompts, ensuring that users can continue working in the Customer Control Panel only after all requested agreements have been accepted.
The full history of agreement acceptances is recorded and available in the Operator Control Panel. (CR-2764, SAP-23115)
Improved the logic for determining the availability of plans for purchase and renewal
In addition to the existing settings that control the ability to place sales and renewal orders, it is now possible to specify an end date for each action's availability. When the specified date arrives, the platform automatically disables the selected action for the plan. (CR-2779)
Implemented partial payments from the account balance
Users of the Customer Control Panel can now use their account balance to partially pay a payment by specifying the amount to deduct from the balance when the available balance is less than the full amount due. In this case, the platform automatically creates a new payment for the remaining amount, which can be completed later using another payment method. Users can also cancel a partially paid payment to recreate it with the original full amount. New placeholders are available for notification and invoice templates to display the original, remaining, and already paid amounts. This feature allows customers to make better use of limited balance funds without needing to top up before making a payment. (CR-2763, SAP-22913)
