ADSync. "API token" section

The API token is used by ADSync services (ADSyncAgent and ADPasswordAgent) for authorization in the ActivePlatform API. The API token should be generated before installing the ADSyncAgent and ADPasswordAgent.

To generate the API token:

  1. Sign in to the Customer Control Panel.
  2. Hover the mouse pointer over the ADSync Entry Point. The  button is displayed in the lower right corner of the Entry Point.
  3. Click . The Entry Point menu is displayed.

  4. On the Entry Point menu, click API token. The page API token is displayed.

    If the API token is changed in the Customer Control Panel, the installed ADSync services stop work properly. To recover their operability, it is necessary to update the API token in both service settings (see ADSync. Изменение API токена).

  5. Click Create and show API token. The window with the new API token is displayed.

    The API token can be viewed only in this widow, after its generation. It is necessary to save the API token carefully to use it later.
