Microsoft Exchange. Creating a public folder
To create a Public folder:
- Sign in to the Customer Control Panel.
- Hover the mouse pointer over the Mailboxes Entry Point. The button is displayed in the lower right corner of the Entry Point.
- Click . The Entry Point menu is displayed.
- On the Entry Point menu, click Public folders. The page with the list of Public folders of the Microsoft Exchange service is displayed.
- Click Create public folder. The page for creating a new Public folder is displayed.
- On the page for creating a new Public folder:
- In the Name field, enter the name of the Public folder.
- In the Max folder size, GB field, enter the maximum size of the Public folder in GB.
- In the Max file size, GB field, enter the maximum size of a file in the Public folder in GB.
- In the Parent folder list, select a Public folder that will be the parent folder for the Public folder.
- In the Type list, select the type of the Public folder:
- Contact
- Appointment
- Journal
- Note
- In the Threshold for notification, GB list, select the threshold of the Public folder size in GB that triggers sending a notification.
In the Default role list, select the default role of the Public folder:
None

- To allow the Public folder to receive email messages:
- Select the Receive email checkbox. The additional elements are displayed.
- In the Email address field, enter the email address of the Public folder.
- To display the Public folder in the address book, select the Display in Address book checkbox.
- In the Receive from list, specify the senders that the Public folder will be allowed to receive email messages from: all or the organization users only.
- Click Create.
