"Microsoft Azure" service

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform that enables customers to build, deploy, and manage applications through the network of data centers, store data, host virtual machines, etc.

Microsoft Azure Subscriptions can be migrated to Microsoft Azure Plan. Two Subscriptions will be displayed for an existing Account on the migration day: the "old" Microsoft Azure Subscription and the "new" Microsoft Azure Plan Subscription. At 21:30, the status synchronization process in the platform deletes the "old" Microsoft Azure Subscription, so it is no longer displayed in the Customer Control Panel. However, its consumption statistic remains available in the Analytics section (see Analytics). Consumption for the "old" and "new" Subscriptions is not merged. For the Subscriptions that use the Postpay model, the Account receives two separate Invoices for the period covered the migration day — if the Billing days for the Subscriptions differ.

After migrating a Microsoft Azure Subscription to Microsoft Azure Plan, an Account can no longer order Microsoft Azure Subscriptions. Instead, ordering only Microsoft Azure Plan Subscriptions is allowed for the Account (see Ordering a Subscription to the Microsoft Azure Plan service) — within the created Azure Plan "container".
