Microsoft Exchange. Creating a resource mailbox

To create a Resource mailbox for the Microsoft Exchange service:

  1. Sign in to the Customer Control Panel.
  2. Hover the mouse pointer over the Mailboxes Entry Point. The  button is displayed in the lower right corner of the Entry Point.
  3. Click . The Entry Point menu is displayed.
  4. On the Entry Point menu, click Resource mailboxes. The page with the list of Resource mailboxes of the Microsoft Exchange service is displayed.
  5. Click Create resource mailbox. The page for creating a new Resource mailbox is displayed.
  6. On the page for creating a new Resource mailbox:
    1. In the Name field, enter the name of the Resource mailbox.
    2. In the Alias field, enter the Alias of the Resource mailbox.
    3. In the Email address field, enter the email of the Resource mailbox.
    4. In the Resource type list, select the required type of the Resource mailbox: Room or Equipment.
    5. In the Limit mailbox size, GB field, enter the size of the Resource mailbox in GB.
    6. To display the Resource mailbox in the address book, select the Display in Address book checkbox.
    7. In the Resource limit, units field, enter the number of available resources.
    8. In the Max booking lead time, days field, enter the maximum number of days in advance the Resource mailbox can be booked.
    9. In the Max duration, minutes field, enter the maximum length of an appointmentAll appointments longer than this value will be declined by the Resource mailbox
    10. To allow requests for recurring appointments, select the Allow recurring appointments checkbox.
    11. To delete the subject of incoming appointment requests, select the Delete subject checkbox.
    12. To delete attachments from incoming appointment requests, select the Delete attachments checkbox.
    13. To delete comments from incoming appointment requests, select the Delete comments checkbox.
    14. To delete non-calendar email messages, select the Delete non-calendar emails checkbox.
  7. Click Create.
