Microsoft Azure. Invoices

  • A Microsoft Azure subscription may offer the included quantity of a resource to be consumed for free every billing period. An account pays only for the quantity consumed above the included.
  • Consumption of 3rd-party resources is not billed in the platform.

  • Consumption of the resources reserved within the Microsoft Azure RI service is processed within the linked Microsoft Azure subscription. The consumption records have the label Azure RI = Yes.

  • Virtual machine reserved instance and SQL reserved capacity discounts apply only to the infrastructure costs and not to the software costs (for more information, see Software costs not included with Azure Reserved VM Instances). This is why the following resources are billed.
