Product page

The Product page is generated automatically using a public product (see Viewing products list). The main content appearance is defined by the Product showpage UI template (see Managing UI Templates). The currency of displayed prices depends on the Customer Store settings (see Managing Customer Store currency).

By default, the Product page includes the following elements:

• The header — displayed on every page of Storefront (see Standard elements defined by Layout UI template).
• The main content:

  • The Back to [Category name] button returns a user to the category page.

  • The main information section displays the product main information and allows proceeding to the Customer Control Panel and order of a subscription. It has the following elements:
    • The product logo.
    • The product marketing name.
    • The company name of the product provider.
    • Starting from — the minimal product price per month in the '00.00 alphabetic currency code/month' format (for example, 10.00 USD / month) calculated as the minimal price of the available product plans.
    • The Buy Now button redirects to the service plans periods section (if a product has several service plans) or to the Customer Control Panel for ordering a subscription (if a product has only one service plan).
    • The Try It button — available when a product has a plan with a trial period.
      
      
      
      
  • The Overview section displays the marketing description of a product. When a description is longer than five lines, only three of them are displayed. The Show more link appears at the bottom of the section. By the click on the link, the full text of the description and the Show less link are displayed.
    
    
    
    
  • The image gallery section includes YouTube videos and screenshots of a product.
    
    
    
    

  • The Features and benefits section includes the list of product marketing benefits.
    
    
    
    

  • The Choose your best plan section displays service plan cards of a product and allows a customer to proceed to the Customer Control Panel to order a subscription.

    The following order of the service plan cards is used for the Product page:

    • Service plan cards with the smaller monthly cost of the plans are displayed on the top of the list. Trial periods are taken into account.
    • Service plan cards with the same monthly cost of the plans are displayed in reverse alphabetical order.

    Service plan cards have the following elements:

    • The service plan name — the name of a service plan.
    • The service plan minimal price — the minimal price of a service plan per month calculated as the minimal price of ordering a subscription to this plan (see the formula for the retail price in Viewing the price list).
    • The service plan description — the description of a service plan.
    • Resources — the list of resources included in a service plan and available for purchase.
    • The Buy Now button: redirects to the Customer Control Panel for ordering a subscription.
    • The Try It button redirects to the Customer Control Panel to order a trial subscription. The Try It button is available when a plan has a trial period.
      
      
      
      
  • The Support section displays the contact information of the product technical support. It includes the following elements:
    • Phone — the technical support contact number.
    • Email — the technical support email.
    • Site — the technical support website.
    • Information — additional information about the product technical support.
  • The Category section includes a link to the category page.
  • The Legal section displays the links to terms and conditions of a product use and includes the following elements:
    • License agreement — a link to the product license agreement.
    • Privacy policy — a link to the product privacy policy.
  • The Documentation section includes the links to the product documentation.
    
    
    
    
  • The subscription ordering section includes the following elements:
    • The product marketing name.
    • Starting from — the minimal product price per month in the '00.00 alphabetic currency code/month' format (for example, 10.00 USD / month) calculated as the minimal price of the available product plans.
    • The Buy Now button redirects to the service plan periods section (if a product has several service plans) or to the Customer Control Panel for ordering a subscription (if a product has only one service plan).

  • The Related Products section includes cards of the related products. Each card is a link to the related product page. Each card includes the following elements:
    
    • The logo of a related product.
    • The marketing name of a related product.
    • The marketing description of a related product.
    • Starting from — the minimal price of a related product per month in the '00.00 alphabetic currency code/month' format (for example, 10.00 USD / month) calculated using available product plans. It serves as a link to the related product page. The Try It button is available when a product has a plan with a trial period.
