Password settings

Starting from version 7.6 (see Release Notes), the platform uses single requirements for password strength in the Operator Control Panel and Customer Control Panel.

A password must contain the following:

• Minimum 8 characters.
• Numbers and Latin letters.
• Letters in different registers (Aa).
• Minimum 1 special character (!@#$%^&*).

A password cannot contain the following:

• Simple combinations (abc, 123).
• Repetitions of characters more than two in a row (Aaa, 111).
• Personal user data (email, name).
• Spaces.

A tooltip with the password requirements is displayed in the Operator Control Panel when a password is changed or reset.
