Auto-Renewing a Subscription

The automatic renewal option assures timely payments for the Subscription to prevent stopping the Subscription and losing all its data.

If the auto-renew option is turned on, the customer receives an invoice for renewal and notification to pay for an Order. On the Subscription expiration day, if the Account Balance is sufficient, the unpaid Renewal Order is paid automatically, and the Subscription is renewed for the next period.

For some Services, it is possible to change the amount of Resources in a Renewal Order (see Delayed renewing of a Subscription).

Peculiarities of auto-renewing

  • Subscriptions in the Stopped status are not auto-renewed even if the Auto-renew switch is On.
  • Auto-renewing is not available for Subscriptions with the endless period.
  • For auto-renewing, it is possible to select any Plan Period but the endless.
  • The Reseller can forbid changing the Auto-renew switch for certain Subscriptions.
  • Reseller can activate automatic joining in a single Payment all Payments for Prolong Orders and Renewal Orders automatically created for an Account by the billing process on the same night.
  • Auto-renewal is turned off and blocked when a Subscription gets the Waiting for manual approve status. When a Subscription gets back its previous status, auto-renewal is restored, too.
