Delayed renewing of a Subscription
Delayed renewing is available for Subscriptions with monthly and annual payments to some Services only (for example, Services by Microsoft and Google) and Services with payments for the maximum amount of the Resources for the whole month.
A delayed Renewal Order is generated in the following cases:
- Automatically before the specified number of days to the Subscription expiration day — during the auto-renewing process. By default, the amount of Resources in the Renewal Order is set equal to the current.
- Manually — during the manual renewing process or as a result of editing an existing Renewal Order.
To change the amount of the Resources in the delayed Renewal Order:
- Sign in to the Customer Control Panel. The Subscriptions page is displayed on the Main Screen (see Viewing the list of Subscriptions).
- Complete one of the following steps:
- Edit the existing Renewal Order (see Editing a Payment).
- If the Renewal Order is not created, create it manually:
- Click the name or ID of the required Subscription. The Subscription page is displayed (see Viewing Subscription details).
Click Renew Subscription.
- Optionally, select the period for renewing.
- In the Subscription Configuration table, for the required Resources, set the new amount (for the general description of the procedure, see Changing amount of Resources) and click Next.
- Check the subscription cost and taxes:
- Prices and total cost do not include taxes — taxes will be calculated and added to the Order amount on the confirmation step.
- Prices and total cost include taxes — taxes are already included in the prices.
- Click Next. The Order confirmation page or an additional step (for a Subscription with manual approval only) is displayed.
- For a Subscription with manual approval, on the additional step, it may be required to specify the sets of values of the Parameters for every ordered unit of the Resources. If applied, these parameters are required for proper Service provisioning. When finished, click Next.
- On the Order Confirmation page:
- Check the following Order information:
- The list of the ordered items, their quantity, and cost.
- The applied taxes:
- If the order subtotal does not include taxes, the displayed amount does not include the sum of taxes from the list.
- If the order subtotal includes taxes, the sum of taxes from the list is already included in the displayed amount.
- The list of taxes — the name, rate, and amount of every tax applied to the order items.
The total amount of the Order.
On the Subscription configuration steps, all prices are displayed in the Plan currency. On the Order confirmation step, all prices are displayed in the Reseller currency that will be used in the Order, Charges, and Payments for the Subscription. For actual information about currency exchange rates, see Screen Layout.
If confirmation of an Order is not available, a message explaining the reason is displayed, and the Submit button is not available.
Optionally, in the Promo code field, enter a Promo code and click Apply to apply a discount.
If the Subscription was ordered at the individual prices via Operator Control Panel, the Promo code field is hidden because the promo codes are not applicable to these Subscriptions.
Click Confirm. The delayed Renewal Order with the new amount of the Resources will be created.
- Check the following Order information:
A delayed Renewal Order has the following specifics:
- After completing the Payment (for the Prepay model) or creating the Renewal Order (for the Postpay model), the Renewal Order gets the Waiting for provisioning status and remains the status till the Subscription expiration date. No information is sent to the Service side till the Subscription expiration date too.
- Provisioning of the Renewal Order in the Waiting for provisioning status starts when the current date is equal to or greater than the Subscription expiration date. The Renewal Order gets the Provisioning status.
- The Charges of the Renewal Order are generated for the period starting from the Subscription expiration date.
- It is possible to cancel the Renewal Order until the Subscription expiration date with a full refund to the Account balance (see Canceling an Order manually).
- If the Payment for the Renewal Order is not completed in time, the Subscription stops and then can be renewed manually.
