Ordering Domain Subscription

A Domain Registration is a process of registering a Domain Name which identifies one or more IP addresses with a name that is easier to remember and use in URLs to identify particular Web pages.

Complete the following steps to order domain registration:

  1. Sign in to the Operator Control Panel.
  2. On the Navigation Bar, click Operation > Products > Subscriptions. The Workspace displays the List of Subscriptions (see Viewing the List of Subscriptions).
  3. Click the Create Subscription button on the Toolbar. The Order Subscription page displays on the screen.
  4. In the Account list, select customer's account.
  5. In the Plan list, select the Plan for domain registration.
  6. In the Plan period list, select the domain registration period (subscription period).

  7. Click Create. Selected Plan and Plan period are displayed on the screen.

  8. If domain plan has an additional resource for protecting customer identity from public WHOIS searches, you can activate the protecting of accounts in the WHOIS Privacy field: 1 — protection is on, 0 — protection is off.

When a domain name is registered, customer personal information is associated with the domain name (e.g. name, address, phone number and email address). This data is available to the public.
The WHOIS Privacy protects customer information from spammers, direct marketers, identity thieves, or other attackers to collect personal information.

  9. Click Next. The list of subscription periods and costs will be displayed to the selected plan.
  10. If you have a promotion code, type it into the Promo Code field to add a discount to the plan period.

  11. Look through the order details and click Submit. The Domain Subscription will be ordered.
