Managing Product

A Product is an entity that is used by a Reseller to manage sales of Vendor's services and applications. In ActivePlatform, a Product contains the data that are required to sell the Product via the Customer Store:

• Vendor information;
• Product type;
• Product marketing information;
• Product documentation;
• Support information.

In ActivePlatform, a Product is directly connected to the Plan (see Managing Plans), and indirectly — via the Plan - to the Application (see Managing Application Templates) and to the Plan Class (see Managing Plan Classes).
