Deleting a Notification Template

The deletion of the Notification Template causes the deletion of all Event Handlers that were created using these Notification Templates.

When the upline Reseller deletes a Notification Template the delegated Template is also deleted for all downline Resellers that did not edit it. The Event Handlers created by a Reseller Manager based on the inherited Notification Template are also deleted. In that case the delegated Template is not deleted if:

  • The Template was edited (the Customized attribute is set to Yes);
  • The Template was not edited, and there is at least one edited Event Handler (with the Customized attribute set to Yes) that is based on this Notification Template.

It is possible to delete only Notification Templates created by a Reseller Manager. The inherited and default Notification Templates cannot be deleted manually.

To delete a Notification Template:

  1. Sign in to the Operator Control Panel.
  2. On the Navigation Bar, click Settings > Notification > Notification Templates. The Workspace displays the List of Notification Templates (see Viewing the List of Notification Templates).
  3. lick the ID or Name of the required Notification Template. The Workspace displays the Notification Template's details page (see Viewing and updating Notification Template's details).
  4. On the Toolbar, click the Delete button.


     
  5. Click Confirm in the pop-up window. The Notification Template will be deleted.
