Managing Customers

ActivePlatform has the following entities for customers to manage purchasing and using Services:

  • An Account (see Managing Accounts) — a counterparty used to manage Orders, Subscriptions, and financial operations. 
  • A User (Managing Users) — a person who uses the Customer Control Panel to access Services.

Every Account has at least one User with the Owner access level (see Creating an Account). The Owner has all financial and administrative control under the Account. The Account can have only one User with the Owner access level.

The User cannot access a Service if the User is not connected to the appropriate Account. A customer can have several Accounts and create several Users for each Account.
