Delete subscription

Deleting a subscription allows you to cancel the purchased service and results in the permanent deletion of associated user data associated on the vendor side. The refund policy for the unused subscription period depends on the terms of the plan. Deleted subscriptions are not displayed in the list of account subscriptions.

Deleting a subscription may be available for some services during the limited period after its purchasing and renewal (for details, see Services. User documentation). When this period expires, deleting a subscription becomes not available. For subscriptions with annual payments, at this moment, the platform also closes all charges.

Automatic deleting of a subscription

The platform deletes your subscriptions in the following cases:

  • A subscription remained stopped for more than an allowed period.
  • The subscription status in the platform is synchronized with the vendor site — for some services only. In this case, the platform deletes a subscription that is already deleted on the vendor side.

Manual deleting of a subscription

To delete a subscription and cancel the purchased service:

  1. In the navigation menu, select Subscriptions. The list of subscriptions of the current account is displayed (see List of subscriptions).
  2. Find the required subscription in the list.
  3. In the header, click  and select Delete subscription in the menu. The confirmation pop-up window appears.

    The Delete subscription button is also available on the Managing tab of a subscription. There you can also check the deletion and refund policy and a countdown timer for a period when the deletion is possible (see Subscription details).

  4. Read the deletion and refund policy.

  5. Click Confirm. The subscription deleting process begins. The subscription gets the Deleting status. If the operation is successful, the subscription gets the Deleted status.
