Change email of Owner

The Owner of an account receives most of the notifications, and if you want to change its email, you need to change the Owner.

An email is a unique user identifier in the platform and is used as a login. An email cannot be changed, but the current Owner of an account can make another user the new Owner by doing one of the following:

  • Change the access level of an existing user to the Owner (see Account users).
  • Invite a new user and after its registration change its access level to the Owner (see Invited users and Account users).

The Owner is the only user of an account with access to all sections and operations. Only the Owner can make another user the new Owner. After that, the ex-Owner becomes an Administrator and cannot change the Owner of an account. See also Access levels of users.
