Reseller

The reseller entity in ActivePlatform represents a legal entity on whose behalf customer subscriptions are managed and invoices are issued in a specific currency.

Before you begin

1. Obtain the credentials for logging in to the ActivePlatform Operator Control Panel.

2. Prepare the details of the legal entity.

3. Obtain the following (for example, from your hosting provider):
   a. Domain name
   b. SSL certificate
   c. Private key
   d. Private key password (if set)

4. Request from the ActivePlatform team the DNS records required for your domain to work with the platform.

5. At your domain registrar, configure the domain with the DNS records you received.

6. Choose the email address of the employee who will receive full access to the control panel of the new reseller and perform further configuration.

What to do

In the ActivePlatform Operator Control Panel:

1. Create the reseller: .

2. Add the domain and SSL certificate: .

3. Using your current account, go to the control panel of the newly created reseller (see ) and then:
   a. Create a role with full access: .
   b. Create a manager with that role: . Save the email and password.
