Viewing and updating Event Handler's details

To view and update Event Handler's details:

  1. Sign in to Operator Control Panel.
  2. On the Navigation Bar click Settings > Notification > Event Handlers. The Workspace displays the List of Event Handlers (see Viewing the List of Event Handlers).
  3. Click the ID or Name link for the required Event Handler. The Event Handler details page appears.



    The Event Handler details page consists of following tabs:
    • General tab contains general information about Event Handler (see Creating an Event Handler):
      • Status — the Event Handler status: active or inactive;
      • Default — the attribute is set to:
        • Yes if the Event Handler was installed by default (for Operator);
        • No if the Event Handler was inherited or created by Reseller Manager (see Reseller's settings inheritance).
      • Customized — the attribute is set to Yes if the Event Handler was edited by a Reseller Manager (see Viewing and updating Event Handler's details). The attribute is set to No for:
        • the new Event Handler created by a Reseller Manager (not inherited);
        • the inherited Event Handler that were not edited or that were reverted back to the state of the corresponding Event Handler of the upline Reseller (see Reverting the state of delegated Event Handler).
    • Event Log — a history of Event Handler changes (see Viewing an Object Log).

The Event Handlers changes are delegated to all downline Resellers (see Delegating UI Templates, Notification Templates, Event Holders and Notification Categories).

The changes in the Event Handler that was delegated from the upline Reseller can be undone (see Reverting the state of delegated Notification Category).

To update the Event Handler:

  1. Edit options that are available for changing on the General tab.
  2. Click the Update button to save changes.
