Approving a correction

To approve a correction:

  1. Go to Corrections (see Navigation). The list of corrections is displayed (see Viewing the list of corrections).
  2. Click the ID of the required correction in the Approval required status. The correction details page is displayed (see Viewing correction details).
  3. Click Approve and confirm the action. The correction gets the Approved status.

For postpaid subscriptions, approving a correction causes the following actions:

  1. The account balance of the account linked to the correction is not changed.
  2. A transaction for the correction is not created.
  3. The current debt for the subscription is changed for the billing period when the correction is approved. 
    • For corrections with the positive amount, the current debt is increased.
    • For corrections with the negative amount, the current debt is reduced.
  4. The correction is not taken into account in the next billing periods.
  5. The current debt change triggers the credit hold check:
    • For a postpaid subscription in the Active and Stopped statuses, if the current debt becomes greater than the financial blocking threshold, the subscription gets the Blocked status due to exceeding the credit limit for the current billing period. 
    • For a postpaid subscription in the Blocked status due to exceeding the credit limit for the current billing period, if the current debt becomes less than the financial blocking threshold, the subscription gets its previous status back.
  6. The correction is displayed in the invoice for the postpaid model for the billing period during witch it is approved.
  7. The invoice amount is changed as follows:
    1. For corrections with the positive amount, the invoice amount is increased.
    2. For corrections with the negative amount, the invoice amount is reduced.
  8. The payment amount for the closed invoice equals to the invoice corrected amount.
