Managing Notification Categories
A Notification Category is used for grouping Notifications by some criteria, e.g. "Internal ", "Renewal and Expiration Notices" etc. This option is used for internal needs and does not affect the properties of Notifications.
After a new Notification Category is created by an upline Reseller it is also created for all downline Resellers. Changing or deleting the Notification Category may cause changing or deleting the corresponding delegated Notification Category for all downline Resellers (see Delegating UI Templates, Notification Templates, Event Holders and Notification Categories and Deleting a Notification Category).
After publication, each Notification Category is displayed on the Notification Settings page of the Customer Control Panel (see Configuring Notifications in the ActivePlatform. Customer Control Panel).
If the Notification templates of the SMS type are not available for the Notification category, the SMS switcher saves its position and becomes unavailable for managing on the Notification Settings page of the Customer Control Panel (see Configuring Notifications in the ActivePlatform. Customer Control Panel).
If an SMS notification template is added to this Notification Category, the SMS switch retains its value and becomes available for managing.
