Deactivating a plan
Deactivating is used to make a plan not available for ordering new subscriptions.
After the plan deactivation, the existing subscriptions cannot be renewed manually, but the Auto-renew option in the plan and subscriptions is not changed. Subscriptions with the activated Auto-renew option will renew automatically, regardless of the plan deactivation.
To stop renewing all subscriptions to a deactivated plan, turn off and lock the Auto-renew option for every subscription (see Auto-renewing a subscription).
To deactivate a plan:
- Go to Plans (see Navigation). The list of plans is displayed (see Viewing the list of plans).
- Click the ID or name link of the required plan. The plan details page is displayed (see Viewing and updating a plan).
- On the General tab, click Deactivate and confirm the action. The plan gets the Inactive status. If the plan was delegated to a downstream reseller, the delegated plan on the downstream reseller level gets the Deactivated by provider status.
