Deactivating an event handler

You can deactivate an event handler to stop sending messages about an event. However, the deactivation of an event handler does not change the status of the corresponding delegated event handlers of the downstream resellers (see Delegating UI templates, notification templates, event handlers, and notification categories).

To deactivate an event handler:

1. Go to Event Handlers (see Navigation). The list of event handlers is displayed (see Viewing the list of event handlers).
2. Click the ID or name of the required event handler in the Active status. The event handler details page is displayed (see Viewing and updating event handler's details).
3. Click Deactivate and confirm the action. The selected event handler gets the Inactive status.
