Creating Application Templates
Application Templates can be based on APS packages (see Configure APS Packages) or Plugins (see Viewing the List of Plugins). Some Plugins are Vendor-specific (for example, MicrosoftCspProducts and Office365 Plugins for the Microsoft services), other Plugins are service-specific (for example, services for domains and SSL certificates). There are also several internal Plugins:
- Manual Provisioning Plugin — used for Services that allow using Manual Operations for provisioning actions with an Application (see Manual Operations).
- Vendor service — used for automatic creating Application Templates for Products published in Vendor Portal (see Synchronization of Products and Plans between Vendor Portal and ActivePlatform).
Before creating an Application Template, it is necessary to import the required APS package (see Importing a Package) or install the required Plugin (see Viewing the List of Plugins).
The process of creating an Application Template depends on the specifics of the used APS package or Plugin. In this section, the following general examples are described:
- Creating an Application Template based on the Manual Provisioning plugin
- Creating an Application Template based on an APS package
- Creating an Application Template based on the Domain plugin
- Creating an Application Template based on the Certificate plugin
For the process of creating an Application Template for the Microsoft services based on the MicrosoftCspProducts and Office365 Plugins, as well as for other services, see ActivePlatform. Services. Operator documentation.
