Managing Customer Store pages
Storefront uses pages of the following types:
- Information pages — created automatically during the Customer Store creation (see Automatically created information pages) or manually by a manager (see Creating an information page). A manager can completely customize the appearance of a page using UI templates (see Managing information and auto-generated pages UI templates) and the content of the information pages (see Editing an information page).
- Auto-generated pages — the catalog, category, and product pages. They are generated automatically using the ActivePlatform data and based on UI templates (see Auto-generated pages). A manager can customize the SEO information of the auto-generated pages (see Managing SEO information of a product page, Managing SEO information of a category page) and their appearance (using UI Templates).
The search results page is non-customizable and only contains the following information:
- The number of results found.
- Products — a list of products that match the search criteria. It contains:
- The name of a product (with its category name) as a link to the product page.
- The brief product description (if provided).
- A link to the product page.
- Pages — a list of other Storefront pages that match the search criteria, including product category pages (if any).
