Product page

The Product page is generated automatically using a public product (see Viewing products list). The main content appearance is defined by the Product showpage UI template (see Managing UI Templates). The currency of displayed prices depends on the Customer Store settings (see Managing Customer Store currency).

By default, the Product page includes the following elements:

• The header — displayed on every page of Storefront (see Standard elements defined by Layout UI template).
• The main content:

  • The Back to [Category name] button returns a user to the category page.

  • The main information section displays the product main information and allows proceeding to the Customer Control Panel and order a subscription. It has the following elements:
    • The product logo.
    • The vendor name.
    • The product marketing name.
    • A card with the starting price of a subscription and Try for free and Choose Plan buttons to go to compare plans or a message that the price is available upon request if there are no public plans and self-ordering a subscription is not available. The Try It button is available when a product has a plan with a trial period.
      
  • Overview — a detailed description of the product.
  • See how it works — a carousel of videos and product screenshots.
    
  • Compare Plans — the list of product plan cards. Plan cards contain the following elements, the behavior of which depends on the terms of the plan:
    • The plan name.
    • The plan description
    • From — the minimal price of a plan per month in the '00.00 alphabetic currency code/month' format (for example, 10.00 USD / month) calculated as the minimal price of ordering a subscription to this plan (see the formula for the retail price in Viewing the price list).
    • Information about taxes.
    • Try for free or Buy — a button to proceed to order registration. The Try for free button is displayed when a plan has a trial period.
      

      The following order of the plan cards is used for the Product page:

      • Plans with a smaller monthly cost are displayed at the top of the list. Trial periods are taken into account.
      • Plans with a same monthly cost are displayed in reverse alphabetical order.
      
  • Features — the list of product benefit cards.
    
• The footer — displayed on every page of Storefront (see Standard elements defined by Layout UI template).
