Viewing and updating a role
To view and update a manager role:
- Go to Roles (see Navigation). The list of roles is displayed (see Viewing the list of roles).
- Click the ID or name of the required role. The role's details page is displayed with the following tabs:
- General — the general information about the role, similar to creating a new one (see Creating a role).
- Managers — the list of managers with the role (see Viewing the list of managers with a particular role).
- Log — the history of changes (see Viewing an object log).
- If it is necessary to update the role:
- On the General tab, make the required changes.
- Click Update.
If it is necessary to delete the role, on the General tab, click Delete and confirm the action.
Deleting an role is not available if it has any attached managers (see Viewing the list of roles). First, detach every manager from the role (see Viewing the list of managers with a particular role and Viewing and updating manager's information) and then return to its deletion.
