Delegated Plans synchronization
Starting from version 3.4, manual synchronization of delegated Plans is not available.
Parameters of delegated Plans that can not be synchronized
The following Plan parameters can not be synchronized (see Editing general information about the Plan):
- Description.
- Public.
- Auto-renew.
- Plan Attributes (see Creating an Attribute).
- Resources Attributes.
- Application Templates that are used for the current Plan (see Viewing and Updating a Plan).
- Changes of the Plan Category.
- Switchable Plans (see Managing Switchable Plans).
Automatic synchronization of delegated Plans parameters
For Plans, automatic synchronization of changes with all delegated Plans for all Reseller levels is available. The following Plan parameters are synchronized automatically:
- General information (see Editing general information about the Plan):
- Name.
- Fixed price.
- SKU.
- Billing type.
- Currency.
- Plan Periods including the Public attribute (see Updating Plan Periods).
- Plan Resources including Plan Resources names and the Public attribute (see Updating Plan Resources).
- Plan Classes (see Creating a Service Term and Viewing and Updating a Service Term).
Synchronization of Plan Periods and Plan Resources published in Vendor Portal
- By default, all prices are not updated when a Vendor updates a Product in Vendor Portal. If it is necessary to update the prices, turn on the toggle on the page of the Product from Vendor Portal in the Operator Control Panel (see Viewing Product information).
- After deleting a Plan Period from Vendor Portal, this Plan Period is also deleted from all Plans in ActivePlatform. Existing Subscriptions remain working but without possible renewal.
- After deleting a Plan Resource from Vendor Portal, this Plan Resource gets the attribute Public = No in all Plans in ActivePlatform.
- For a Plan from Vendor Portal with the attribute Delegated = No and at least one Subscription in any status but Deleted on the current Reseller level or any downstream Reseller level, the following restrictions are applied in the Operator Control Panel:
- When a Vendor updates a Product in Vendor Portal, for an existing Resource, the changes are not applied in the following cases:
- In Vendor Portal, the Included and Minimum values of the updated Resource differ from the current values of the Resource.
- The Unlimited toggle is currently turned on, but in Vendor Portal, the updated Resource has the Unlimited toggle turned off.
- In Vendor Portal, the Limit value of the updated Resource is less than the current value of the Resource.
- When a Vendor updates a Product in Vendor Portal and adds a new Resource, the new Resource is not created in ActivePlatform if the Included value differs from 0.
- When a Vendor updates a Product in Vendor Portal, for an existing Resource, the changes are not applied in the following cases:
