Creating a connector

In this article:

General info

A connector can be created using one of the following plugins:

  • Vendor Service Plugin (VSP) — used for services of various vendors, except for Microsoft.
  • MicrosoftCspProducts and Office365 — used for Microsoft services only.
  • Manual Provisioning plugin — used for services that require manual operations for provisioning actions with an application (see Manual operations).
  • Service-specific plugins (for domains and SSL certificates).
  • APS packages (see Configure APS packages).

In the current version, support of the service-specific plugins (for domains and SSL certificates) and APS packages is limited.

The process of creating a connector depends on the specifics of the used APS package or plugin. In this section, the following general examples are described:

Before creating a connector, it is necessary to import the required APS package (see Importing a package) or install the required plugin (see Viewing the list of plugins) on the root reseller level.

The process of configuring the services and migrating to the platform customers and their subscriptions is described in a dedicated guide (see Services. Operator Guide). To get access, contact your manager or fill in the form.
